Album Art Finder

Search any album, artist or song and download its cover art in high resolution — up to 3000×3000 pixels, straight from Apple's artwork CDN. Free, no account, and nothing is uploaded to our servers.

Artwork is fetched directly from Apple's public iTunes Search API and downloaded straight from Apple's CDN to your device — nothing passes through our servers. Artwork remains the property of its rights holders; use it for your personal library.

How to download high-resolution album art

  1. Search for the album, artist or song name. Pick a different store country if the release is region-specific.
  2. Pick a size. 3000px is ideal for archiving and large displays; 600px is plenty for embedded tags.
  3. Download. The JPEG saves with a clean "Artist - Album (size)" filename, ready to embed with your tag editor — or with a player that writes tags, like Trove.

Why high-resolution covers matter

Most rips and older downloads carry 300px covers that look blurry on a Retina display, a CarPlay screen or a TV. Replacing them with 1200px or 3000px art is the single quickest visual upgrade a local music library can get.

Album art FAQ

Quick answers about sources, sizes and usage.

Where does the album art come from?

From Apple's public iTunes Search API and artwork CDN — the same source the iTunes Store and Apple Music use. Your search goes directly from your browser to Apple; nothing passes through our servers.

What resolution can I download?

Up to 3000×3000 pixels when the label supplied art that large, which most modern releases do. The tool also offers 1200×1200 and 600×600 variants. If a size is unavailable, Apple's CDN returns the closest available version.

Is this album art finder free?

Yes, completely free — no account, no watermark, no limits. It's built by the team behind Trove Player, a local music player for Mac and iPhone.

Why can't I find a specific album?

The artwork must exist in Apple's catalog for the store country you selected. Try switching the country (a Japanese pressing may only exist in the Japan store) or searching by the artist name instead of the album title.

Can I use the artwork in my music library?

Downloading covers to tag your own rips and purchases is the classic personal use this tool is made for. The artwork itself remains the property of its rights holders — don't use it commercially.
